An Eventful Weekend

I actually had a busy weekend for once. Can you believe it? Friday night we were all on hand to help my mother and father-in-law move so it was a late night getting all of their belongings stuffed into two moving trucks. I can't take to much credit because I did alot of sitting around supervising. How much can a pregnant person do anyways, right? Since I didn't get a nap after sleeping only 3 hours the night before I was glad when it was bedtime!! It felt good to sleep in Saturday too. Don't you love it when you can wake up on your own and not to an alarm clock? Saturday morning Randy and our friend Duane Heintzleman drove to Burlington,KY to a landscapers tree farm( I think that is what it was called) Anyways they came back with 5 trees. 4 for us and 1 for Katie and Duane. I can't wait to get them in the ground! ( I guess I should say I can't wait till Randy gets them in the ground) oops. Moving from an established neighborhood with mature trees to a new subdivision with no trees was weird. I hate not having any shade in our yard. It was funny when one of the girls commented a couple of weeks ago that they hadn't seen a squirrel in a long time. I guess that is one advantage to not having any trees. I don't have to worry with squirrels eating my tulip bulbs. So, randy and Duane unloaded the trees and headed back to the in-laws new house to unpack the trucks that were loaded up on Friday night. It was a long day for everyone but their new house is so pretty and everything got unpacked( no thanks to me) So I guess it ended up being a successful day. I then came home and cooked for Sunday dinner. I had all of Randy's family over so they could relax and not have to cook. ( I guess that was my contribution to the move)
Sunday was typical. My nap felt so good!!!!
Today I had my doctor visit for the month and I also had a little bit of running to do so I tried to combine it all into one trip. I ran into Joann Fabric to get some more material for a dress. My mom made me a dress and I liked it so much I wanted another one. This time I got pink instead of black so we will see how it turns out. I then went to the doctor's office and, much to my surprise, got right in. I won't say how much weight I gained but I will tell you this. To match the weight gain I had with Konnor I can only gain 1 more pound in the next 15 weeks. Think I can do it? I don't.LOL... I then went to the mall to return a shirt to Old Navy. I also made a stop in Motherhood Maternity. They have the coolest jean skirts!! Konnor also decided to pee in his pants in the middle of the store. What am I gonna do with the kid? Its a good thing I had extra clothes with me! Oh well by that time it was getting late so I headed to Sam's Club to get stuff for the church and to order a cake for the graduates banquet on Sunday evening. What a day right. So now I am at home catching up on laundry and picking up the house.( and catching up on my blogging) I have to find something for dinner too. Kaitlyn is sick today so I cancelled piano lessons tonight. At least that is one less thing I have to do. Oh well I think I broke the record for the longest post ever. I am gonna take a walk tonight so I wont gain that last pound. haha.......TTFN

Your weekend was certainly action packed. So glad your in-laws got moved. There house looks nice. I'm so happy for them. They probably won't know how to act now, being this close to church.
