A hated task

Did I ever mention one of the things I hate the most? Well here it is for those of you who are afraid to ask.LOL I hate trying to take winter clothes out of closets and putting in summer clothes!!!!!!! I started doing this last week and I am still trying to get it finished. I hate it so bad I procrastinate. You have to pull out all of the winter ones and decide if they are keepers for next year or not. Then decide what to do with them if they are not keepers. Then go through all of the summer clothes from last year and decide if they fit them this year( or not) and hang them all up. When you have to do this for 3 kids( Kaitlyn does her own) it seems like too big of a task. Then when you get all of their summer clothes in the closet you realize they don't hardly have any clothes so then you have to decide what they need or don't need and decide whether you have the money to buy them new things or not. I wish that I had tons of money( Bill Gates amount) I think I would just donate all of their clothes to a good cause at the end of every season and just buy them new ones every year. I know that is not practical or thrifty but that is what I wish. In the meantime if any of you would like to help a poor friend in need let me know...LOL I am drowning in piles of clothes. ( not really) I will have some to get rid of soon though. Watch out Ebay...

Megan's first soccer game

I liked this "in action" picture. If you click on it you can see that both of her feet are actually off the ground.
Megan and her frien Anna.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was pretty routine. Megan had her first soccer game on Saturday and then we just hung out with Randy's family for the evening. Joanne and Soloman were in town and it was nice to see them again!! Back to Megan's soccer game. She did great for having never played a game before in her life. The team they played had some great players on it so they had to play hard to get the goals that they did get. They did lose but they had fun and that is all that matters. Her friend Anna Snelling is on her team so they have fun together.

Today is going to be a busy day. Aside from being Monday and having to do the normal Monday things( Laundry, cleaning up from the weekend, Laundry) we start Financial Peace University at church tonight. ( Dave Ramsey) So I have to get everything done early. Megan gets home at 4:00, Kaitlyn has play practise at school till 5:00, Megan has soccer practise 6:00-7:00, and we have to be at the church 7:00-9:00. Somewhere in there we have to eat dinner. Hmmmm. I did get Kaitlyn's friends mom to bring her home from school so that will save me the time from going to get her. Hopefully I can get organized and everything done. I hope everyone has a good Monday and a good week!!!

Some spring pictures of Kade

Its getting worse and worse. I would be surprised if any body even looks at me blog anymore. I guess I need to take the time to update. I was busy last week and this week hasn't been any better. Randy's brother Robert and his family stayed with us during IHC. We had alot of fun. Konnor is going through withdraw not having 4 boys here to play with. He loves his cousins. We didn't even go to IHC this year. It was the first year I haven't gone at least once. We have had a big problem with business around here and that was just one more thing to push in. Randy took off Monday to spend time with his brothers( he knew there wouldn't be time after IHC started). Tuesday he got off early for a change and we just decided to spend the night together as a family. We pulled weeds in the flower beds, played catch with the baseball, and played soccer. It was so nice to have a night where you didn't have to be anywhere do nothing. The weather has been so nice. We pretty much did the same thing Wednesday. Thursday Kaitlyn had play practise after school and Randy had to work at Dominos so it is back to the rush. I love this warm spring weather!!!!! I love the flowers, leaving the window open, and walking barefoot outside. I cant wait to start planting flowers.
On a side note,Did anyone feel the earthquake this morning like I did? Randy came in and told me bye so I was awake and I felt my bed vibrating. It was so weird. I flipped over on my back thinking it was just me being weird and the thought crossed my mind" I wonder if there is an earthquake" I didn't know till later that there actually was one. How cool was that. Randy's brother Robert lives less than 75 miles away from the epicenter. My sil said she woke up to her bad shaking. It was only 4:40 at there house.
Oh well I need to put Kade in bed for his nap. TTFN......

Yes, it is the eight month chair picture. LOL I wasn't going to post it but my sister gave Kade this shirt and I wanted her to see how cute it was on him. Thanks Bek! I am truly getting paid back for Konnor being so easy and laid back as a baby. Konnor never got into anything. Kade is a whole different story. I have a seat that he likes to sit in. Like an old time walker but this one doesn't have wheels. It has rockers. Much safer you know. Well Kade walks it around like it has wheels. Even on the carpet. He is banging the cabinet doors, dumping over the trash can, messing with stuff in the pantry, banging the glass doors of a show case cabinet in the family room, and this morning he pulled off my table cloth.( thankfully there wasn't anything heavy on the table) He is up at 6:30-7:00 every morning ready to go. The rest of my kids didn't wake up till at least 9;00. But look at him, you cant help but love him. He is so cute and lovable. No wonder he is so spoiled. I try not to but you just cant help it.
I think spring has finally arrived!!! Yahhhh! I am sitting in my computer room with the windows open listening to the birds sing and smelling the Hyacinths blooming outside the window. Warm weather and flowers blooming, what else can I ask for. I cant wait till I can go buy some flowers to plant and get digging in the fresh warm dirt.
Well I am off to do laundry and find something to cook for dinner tonight. Bye

My Trip to Kroger

Okay, you know I don't have much to blog about when I start blogging about my grocery trips.LOL But I thought this one was worth blogging about. Sad to say I don't have a picture but I went last night and it was late so I just put it all away and went to bed. So here are the details.
I bought: 59 items
I paid: 40.16
I saved: 81.64
Kroger had some awesome deals this week so I dug out the coupons and landed some cool deals. I think they are running the same deals next week so if you can snag an ad or go online and see it I am sure you can get some deals too. I hope you have a good weekend.

Catch up 2

I thought this picture was too cute. Kade loved his new teether.

Happy Birthday to Grandpa George!!! Yes, This is Konnor's new way to smile at the camera. grrrrr.

My sister Rebekah sent some more summer clothes for Kade to borrow. He loved modeling. Thanks Bek!

Just wanted to let you know that I am still alive. I just haven't had the chance to blog. It has been somewhat boring around here so I haven't had much to tell you. So today I am just posting some random pictures from the past week or so. Enjoy!
