Ok I had this huge long post along with the girls picture but when I published it it disappeared. To tell you the truth I don't feel like typing it all again. This is the second time it has happened to me. I will make a long post short. I pretty much had a horrible week last week due to sickness and having to be stuck in the house and missing everything fun at church. This past weekend I came down with the virus that Konnor had and I thought I would die. ( or close to it) But the good thing is that the girls went back to school and it has gone better than I thought it would. They were were so helpful around the house and I thought I would be lost without them but it has gone very smooth without them. Kade had his 2 week checkup and he now is up to 8lbs and 5 oz. He does have to go to Children's medical center to see a cardiologist about a heart murmur that has not gone away. That is going to be on Thursday so please pray for him. They are going to do an echo cardiogram and an ultrasound on his heart to make sure everything is okay. I will let you know how it went on Thursday.( or Friday) TTFN

A long week

Kaitlyn and Megan's first day of school

I am so glad that it is a new week!! I hope this one is better than the last one. Let me make a long story short okay. Since I have been home from the hospital(2 weeks now) Kaitlyn, Megan, and Konnor have all had the hand, foot and mouth virus. Konnor has had a flu virus that made him have stomach pains and diarrhea for 3 days. He was up all night with that the same night I had a migraine( or spinal) headache. So I had to miss the famous rolling picnic at church along with my very sad children. I also had to miss church too. Monday and Tuesday I had to go to orientations at school.( don't ask me why they cant put them all on the same night)I didn't know weather to be happy for the first day of school or not. The girls were so ready but I was kinda scared because that meant my help around the house was leaving. It turned out better than I thought. Everything has gone pretty smoothly.Right after the girls got on the bus I had to take Kade to his 2 week checkup. He now weighs 8lbs and 5oz. Thursday we went calling at church to remind the outreach kids about VBS. Well that night I came down with the same virus that Konnor had. I don't think I have been so sick in my life. So Friday I moved from the recliner to the bed to the bathroom( not necessarily in that order) all day. Crying in pain half of the day. It was horrible!!!! Konnor was so good and took care of himself for the most part all day. I was so proud of him. He even took a 4 hour nap that day. So I had to miss VBS too. By Saturday night i was feeling a little better.( thanks to kaopectate and Motrin ) I actually made it to church yesterday. Today Kade had a doctor appointment to recheck his heart murmur that the doctor can still hear. I guess that most babies have them when they are born but they close up with in 48 hours. The doctor has decided to send him to Children's hospital to see a cardiologist. They with do an echocardiogram and an ultrasound of his heart to make sure everything is ok. So please pray for him that everything will be ok. I am not sure when it will be yet, So I am kinda tired tonight and I am thinking about going to bed early. I doubt if it will happen but it is a nice thought.TTFN

Our art project
A new picture of Kade

I just thought I would post a new picture of Kade and one of the project we worked on yesterday.I found this project at Michael's Craft store where you can make a stone casting of your baby's hand and foot. Well since I have been a little depressed about him growing up so fast I figured it would be great way to remember how little his hands and feet were. It was actually pretty easy and the result was amazing. You cant really see in the picture but it shows every wrinkle and even his fingernails. The foot didn't turn out like I wanted so I think I will do it again But I still wanted to show you what it looked like. Now i just have to paint them with a glossy finish and put them on a base. Cool huh. I have so many good friends and family members I have not had to cook all week and it has been soooo nice. Thanks you all so much!!! Tonight we have home builders at our friends the Miller's house. We have not had home builders all summer so it will be nice to get together with our friends again. I hope everyone else has a good weekend!!

Well I don't really know what happened to my previous post but the pictures showed up and the posting did not. hmmmm I just wanted to let you all know that we are home and everyone is doing good. WE are all trying to get back into some mode of normal around here. Is it possible and how long does it take?I am so glad I have the girls home for one more week before school starts again. The are a big help! Kade is a pretty good baby and oh so sweet!!! I just want to sit and hold him all day because I know he is going to grow so fast. It really depresses me. If only babies could stay babies forever. Well I have a pile of laundry to do so I need to get busy. Thanks for all of the sweet comments on my previous posts and for your prayers too. I know that is why I had such a easy delivery this time.

Well he is finally here.Everything went good.In fact it was the easiest labor I have had. I decided since it was my last one I would try an epidural. Why didn't I do that a long time ago I ask myself? Getting the epidural was the most pain I had the hole time. It was a wonderful experience!! Now we are all trying to get back to normal around here. I wonder how long its going to take? At least I have the girls another week before school starts. For that I am thankful!! Kade is such a sweet baby! I just want to keep him like this forever!!! I just want to hold all day because I know he is going to grow up so fast. Well I have stuff to do. I will try to get more pictures on and post often but we will have to see how that goes.8o)

Well I think I am ready. I have cleaned my house( if only the rest of the family can keep it that way) finished all the laundry, and the freezer and pantry are both stocked. The boy's room actually got finished last week too. It is so cute. Randy worked so hard on it. We bought paint from Lowes and it was horrible!!!(with a capital H) He painted the walls 3 times and it still didn't cover. So we then took empty cans back to Lowes and told them the problem and they refunded us the money. We were painting white on top and orange on the bottom of 3 walls and one accent wall was completely orange. You would think orange would cover anything well......... Randy decided he would change the color of the accent wall to gray and off I went to Sherwin Williams. Would you believe that 15 minutes and one coat of gray covered the wall beautifully. Now with the Hotwheels border up it is so cute. We were finishing up with the last piece of border when Konnor came in,crossed his arms and said that he didn't like cars. It was so funny. Randy told him"tough" and that he had better start liking them. He likes them now! 8o) Now I just have to get bedding. Well you probably wont see a new post from me in a little while but I will definitely post some pictures as soon as I can. Pray for me Wed. morning and I will so appreciate it!!

Well I went to my doctor appointment today and the word is in. If this baby is not born before next Tuesday I am scheduled to be induced . I have to be at the hospital at 9:00 Tuesday night and I will have him Wed. morning sometime. I did the same thing with Konnor and I had him at 8:30. I was dilated to 3 today so maybe just maybe I will go before then. Please pray that I will!!!!! Next week will be so busy with Randy's sister getting married on Friday night and with family being in town. I guess if there is no complications I will come home from the hospital on Friday morning and go the wedding on Friday night. I think I am a little crazy in the head! I will definitely play things by ear on that one. Oh well I just thought I would update you on the news.
