As I told you before you are gonna get that monthly picture of Kade sitting in his chair. He is three months old today. I am very blessed to have such a good baby. He sleeps a seven hour stretch every night for which I am thankful. He is a happy boy and very loved!
I did my monthly trek to the grocery store today. Let me tell you in one word how it went.STRESSFUL. Konnor is sick and hasn't eaten in 2 days. All he does is whine. I think the rest of us is coming down with it too. It is just a real bad cold but it always hits konnor worse than anybody else because of his weak lungs. But since I didn't have any food in the house I had to go. As always i went to Aldi first and got what i could there and then I went to Meijer to get the rest of the stuff on my list. I know it sounds like a huge thing to go to the grocery once a month but it so much easier for me to do it that way. I just make a list of everything i want to cook this month and then i make a list of all the ingredients I need. Check the adds for things I have coupons for and off I go. i got lucky to day that my mom was there too and she got one of the new cart that play movies in it for Konnor and pushed him around with her so I didn't have to mess with all his whining. Did I mention Kade was ready for a nap?LOL By the time I got out of Meijer Konnor was throwing a fit and screaming because he wanted to "touch me"( he wanted me to carry him).He couldn't quite understand that I couldn't carry him and push a cart loaded to the top with groceries and a baby seat on top. i couldn't get home fast enough. Oh well at least we have food in the house.8o) I hope your day was a little better than mine. I hope you all have a good weekend.

Did you say shopping for a MONTH?!?!?! There's only two of us and...okay I won't finish that sentence.
Oh, Heather, I do remember those days. Now, I go to the store when they are in school because if I took them, it would be worse than taking 3 toddlers/babies! They drive me up a wall asking for stuff. I have to treat them like toddlers and warn them before we get out of the van not to be asking for the whole store. Hee Hee hee! Steph being the worse. She's going through that teenage vacuum cleaner stage where they suck down every bit of food in the house in a couple days.
I'm impressed---once a month shopping. Do you buy the meat when it is on sale or once a month regardless? I'm trying to justify my weekly visits :)
What a cute picture! I love that smile of his. I'm so sorry you had to grocery shop with a sick child. Hope Konnor is feeling better soon and I hope the rest of the family stays well!
My mom always says that we were better in the grocery story when we were little then when we were teenagers:)
Happy three months to Kade!!! Sorry Konnor isn't feeling well!!! I can't even imagine doing MONTHLY shopping!!! You must have gotten all of the organized genes in our family!!! I can't even do WEEKLY shopping!!! Thankfully Publix is less than a mile from my house!!!!!
