Camp 2008

Camp was great this year! It always seems to go by so fast though. But, it sure did feel nice to sleep in my own bed and not have to walk a mile( not quite) to the bathrooms. The best part about being home is getting a shower in my clean and bug free shower. The warm water is nice too.8o) The services were wonderful. If you like notes from the services you will have to check out my friend Michele's blog. I had a hard time just trying to keep Kade occupied not alone take notes too. Some nights I thought I would pull my hair out. Overall we had a great time and we cant wait till next year. By the way I am STILL doing laundry and I don't think I will ever be done. We just keep adding to it and the pile keeps getting bigger. Since Monday night I have done 9 loads. Yes, I am keeping track. I will update you when I am finished.LOL TTFN....

The Great Dads in my Life

I just want to say Happy Father's Day to the world's best dad's!

First is my wonderful husband Randy, the best dad to our 4 kids. He is the best and I love him so much!

We both have the best dad's a couple could ever have. They are both dependable and always there to lend a helping hand whenever we call. We thank God for you every day!!!

Well I am back to taking pictures. I decided on the Kodak Z712IS. I was leaning towards a Kodak because that is what I have had in the past and I like the user friendliness of them. When I was researching I saw the pictures that this camera had taken here. I got a real good deal at the Kodak website on it so I am excited to have a camera again! I already had the Kodak software in my computer so that was one less thing I had to learn to use. Thanks for all of your suggestions.

I have only had it one day so I am trying to learn all of the different settings and such. These pictures are just some I was snapping when I got it.

My girls got home from camp in one piece. It brought memories to my mind of when I used to come home from youth camp. I was always sorry it was over but oh so tired and ready for a good sleep in my own bed and a shower in my own shower.(if you know what I mean).

Well next week it is off to main camp. We cant wait!!! A week of dirty kids and taking showers in the shower house(yuk). The services are going to be great this year. I am looking forward to it. I made my list yesterday( my mother in law is probably cringing) lol. I work good under pressure so I never do anything until the last minute. So today I am finishing up the girls laundry from kids camp so they will have something to wear and going to Walmart to get a few things. I hope everyone has a good weekend!!!

Help

As I mentioned in the last post my camera has decided to fly the coop. Remember what I said about Kade doing new things every day? Well, since last Friday he has decided to crawl for the first time, start pulling himself up, and last night he took 5 steps alone. Ahhhhhhh
Well I am in the market for a new camera. I have found several I like and I have asked around but I would like to hear from you. What kind of camera do you have and what do you like best about it. I don't have a ton of money to spend so I would like to get the best deal I can. Hopefully I can get one this week. Next week is camp and I would like to have it then. Thanks!!!

Why am I always making excuses for my lack of blogging? I think I just stink at blogging and that is it. 8o) I don't like to blog without pictures. I finally went to the store and bought batteries for my camera and guess what? My camera is dead!!!! I am so upset! I have a baby doing new things every day and I don't have a camera. I couldn't even get the 10 month chair picture today. I am dying inside. I am going to have to scrounge around for every dime and penny I have and see what I can come up with to get another one.
My girls are going to Appalachian Ministries Kidz Camp this week. They are looking forward to it. I know they are going to have fun but it is so hard for me to ship them off without going with them. I feel I need to go and keep them "safe".
Well at least you know why my blogging is lacking now. I hope to find a camera soon. TTFN..
