Okay,So I went( finally) to get my eyes check last night. I have put it off for too long. Its one of those things that didn't hit the top of my list of priorities. We don't have any vision insurance so that was another reason I kept putting it off. Randy finally got tired of me complaining(and asking him to move the song book closer at church) and made me go. I made my way to the eye doctor at Wal-Mart. The doc was very nice but surprised that this was my first ever eye exam.
To make a long story short, I am half blind and will be joining the world of eyeglass wearers. I have a astigmatism in both eyes and half of my eye is near sited and the other half is far sited. (both eyes are like that) The doc said that is very rare. So now the hard part... picking out glasses that I can live with and wear for the rest of my life. I am seeking volunteers to come help me pick them out. LOL I am so indecisive. TTFN...

Good luck with the glasses..Mine are 2 years old and it is time for an upgrade myself..
Your first ever eye exam!?! How could you stand not being able to see?! You must have been used to it. I feel lost without my glasses... actually, maybe I just don't FEEL that way... I would be a danger to myself and the people around me! HA! Sounds like you have a strange eye problem. Do you have med. insurance? If you do, that is what the specialist I go to takes... NOT eye insurance! It is the same building as Doctor Listen... but, that is not including glasses, but they can give your eyes a really great exam!!! I don't know if they pay for eye glass exams, but they took my medical insurance and the little $10 co-pay... otherwise, it would have probably cost a bit. I think you would look nice with glasses... I am picturing some of the contempory styles on you.
Plan to see you this weekend at the Youth Revival!
Your little boy is getting big... He looks sooo hugable!
Just think....you'll have a brand new look now with your new glasses! Not to mention that you'll love being able to see more clearly. The world will seem like a different place. :) Have fun picking them out!
You will be so happy to be able to see! welcome to the New Specs Club! miss you.
I am also way past due for an eye exam! I used to wear contacts and have been reduced to glasses for quite a while now..which I hate! Have fun picking out your first pair of glasses...and don't forget that you may be able to get contacts! Either way, you will LOVE being able to SEE clearly!
It was nice to see you and visit your very friendly, welcoming church last Sunday night!
